Falling (Feels So Good) Live Acoustic - Laura Warwick (Original Singer S...

Laura Warwick; Singer and Songwriter based out of the United Kingdom. Laura's You Tube Channel invites listeners to follow her on her journey through the studio recording process and her "antics" on the road with her video diaries. As of this writing she professes to be recording and writing her new album, but I do believe that this album is finished by now. One interesting aspect I should note about her channel; Laura takes this one song, "Losing You" and has about thirteen different versions of it. Dub-step, Electro, House, remix, and various other remixed variations. I found myself clicking through the videos to hear how different you make one song sound.
So I picked this song not only because its the first video that pops up when you get to her You tube channel, but also because it's pretty smooth and somewhat soulful. Those interested in following Mrs. Warwick on Twitter can do so at www.twitter.com/laurawarwick
She has several other websites also;  www.laurawarwickmusic.com   www.reverbnation.com/laurawarwick   www.facebook.com/laurawarwickmusic

PANCASILA meditation with guitar - Johannes Passion BWV 245 JS. Bach - L...

This was one of the very first videos I ever saw that was made by Lianto Tjahjoputro. It totally blew me away, I was amazed. So much so I had to let him know. Can you believe Mr. Tjahjoputro sent me back a response, and more than once. He is quite the gentlemen. Anybody who has begun to get into classical, or has ever tried knows the effects it has on your mind. Actually, I cannot speak for everybody, I can only speak from a personal point of view, and do I got some interesting stories about my "classical" experience.
What I can say the first time someone taught me the "opening" to Jesu' Joy of Mans Desire. I couldn't believe my ears, I couldn't believe I was actually playing what I was hearing but that's the mind-trip. My focus is actually on my hands and hearing is like secondary. If that makes sense. If anybody out there has actually recorded themselves playing an instrument and then turned around and listened to their recording, you know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, enough about me. I'll save my personal stories for a later date when I have more time. I just got about enough time to say a couple more things about Mr. Tjahputro's Channel. I'm subscribing to it, and I found Mr. Tjahjoputro's "Likes" and "Favorites" list's opened up a whole new world of musicians I don't think I would have normally stumbled upon. A Caliber of a higher degree, I think they are referred to as Maestro's or Masters.

Greg Stillwell (Singingkid) - Artificial Flowers

This is going to be great fun folks. I was just looking at my vast array of  contacts and find I have a wealth of information. This is actually going to be therapeutic for me I believe. Sometimes a song can trigger a floodgate of memories that were associated with that particular song, unfortunately this song has no forgotten, hidden memories attached with it. But that's alright, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
I do know one thing though, this was one of the very first songs I heard Mr. Greg Stillwell (The Singing Kid), sing. I mentioned something about Vegas once, in one of my comments. He responded back, and the rest is history, as they say. Mr. Stillwell just recently tried out for Canada's Got Talent, but apparently didn't make "the list". It's alright Mr. Stillwell, there's always next year. How about doing a rendition of "Mac the Knife" as your submission song? I can totally hear you singing that one. I subscribe to Mr. Stillwell's Channel also; The cool thing is he loves what he does, and he does what he loves. During the holiday's The Singing Kid sends his fans an appropriate song for the specific holiday, which I thought was an extra added benefit.
I think I've told him this before, but I'll just say it one more time. Keep on singing Mr. Stillwell....

Eddie Van Halen Style Licks Part2 | Lick of the Week 127

It's funny and I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but out of the hundreds of guitars I've owned throughout my life (literally), non of them have been electric. Sure I've had acoustic guitars with built in pickups but that's not the same. I know one thing for sure, I'm glad I'm subscribing to this guy because the day I get my first electric this is where I'm coming. Not only does he jam, but moreover he's a great teacher. Breaking down the scales, explaining it, and all the while showing you what's going on. Now music theory was my major in college and I could figure this out on my own, but why waste the time when I could pick it up in minutes, learning from this guy. Theodore Ziras ladies and gentlemen...

Still Hungry/Black and Gold - Iris Leonardo @ House of Blues | June 30th

I gotta tell you a little story of how I stumbled upon Iris Leonardo. I was on you-tube actually looking for a song by a vocalist by the name of Ciara. Well,I can't tell you the name of the song I was looking for because I don't remember, but I do remember some of the hits that came up were actually covers. So Iris Leonardo was up there on the list; I clicked on to Iris' video of her doing a cover song by Ciara. It took all of about 3 seconds, and I was hitting the ''Subscribe" button. She's got a great voice. Did a great cover of Ciara's by the way.
Anyway ever since then I drop in on her channel, and find that she ends up in some of the coolest places.(Like on this video) She's cruising around here somewhere in California, and it looks like she's having fun.  So here she is, Lyricist/Singer/Guitarist/Pianist, Iris Leonardo.

Eric Robillard, hailing from France, or at least I believe him to be for the simple fact that French is  what he prefers to write in his descriptions. A  guitarist who can play jazz, blues and rock with great efficacy. I subscribe to his You-tube channel and have had the privilege to correspond with him several times. Basically we related to one another even though he's a world away, and the catalyst was our love of the guitar. I've never actually met him in person and yet I can totally say, "I get it".

"With Justice For All" Rock Beat Instrumental

This video was sent to me via DesperateMeasurez You-tube channel. I remember being eighteen with a synthesizer, a Fostex four track recorder a couple of acoustics. Just sitting and recording, for hours on end. Time literally stands still, but enough about me. Reading some of the description that was uploaded with this video,DesperateMeasurez claims to be putting out several Albums which will be available on iTunes sometime this year so we'll have to wait and see.
He/They have also provided a link for free downloads and leases. Enjoyhttp://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1207512

(Big Bang)Love Song - Sungha Jung

Sungha Jung, I've been subscribing to his You-tube channel for several years now. Plays crisp and clean melodies with precision. A true prodigy in his own right. To see him playing a guitar at the age of 6 or so is astounding. I'm just sorry it took me so long to post his videos.

Everything Happens to Me.dv

Well, here it goes. My blog is set up for thoughts, music, poetry, ideas. It's also set up for a personal love of mine. The musical artist. Doing what we love to do. Making music and enjoying it. Not necessarily for the money or for fame, but because it's a part of us. Regardless...
